In May 2010, the CREB® Charitable Foundation announced their donation of $500,000 in support of the Building for Liberty campaign, a one of a kind housing initiative including 34 second stage shelter apartments, 51 affordable housing apartments, 9 market condominiums, and 8 retail spaces.

"The support from Calgary and area REALTORS® will help make the new facility a reality. Their contribution to our community is invaluable," said Tess Gordey, executive director of the Brenda Strafford Centre.
